Heatrix is a deep-tech climate startup based in Bremen, Germany, with the mission to replace fossil fuels in energy-intensive industries, like cement, steel and chemicals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our modular Heatrix system combines an electric air heater with a thermal energy storage to convert renewable electricity into carbon-free high-temperature process heat. With an air stream outlet temperature of up to 1500 \u00b0C and a continuous heat output in Megawatt-scale, Heatrix can decarbonize high emission industries across Europe and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As heat is transferred via hot air streams, the Heatrix system can be simply integrated into existing plants via insulated pipes. This \u201cplug & play\u201d approach leads to low upfront costs, short downtimes, and reduced risks for plant owners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
