Ucaneo, based in Berlin, is at the forefront of developing innovative Direct Air Capture (DAC) technologies for removing CO2 from the atmosphere. Their patented electrochemical process, inspired by the human lung, uses renewable energy and a specialized biomimetic solvent to efficiently remove CO2 from ambient air. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By 2035, Ucaneo aims to remove 0.5 gigatons of CO2 from the air, equivalent to about 1% of global annual emissions. With plans to build one of the largest DAC testing facilities in Germany and launch their first industrial product, Ucaneo\u2019s solutions are set to offer one of the most cost-effective carbon removal systems worldwide helping industries meet regulatory and sustainability goals.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
