cyclize

Almost all of our everyday products contain carbon. Carbon that is currently still extracted from fossil fuels in the chemical industry in a linear process. At the end of their life cycle, only a few products are recycled. The majority of products end up in landfill sites or are incinerated. Worldwide, only around 9% of all plastic waste is recycled.

We are changing this with Cyclize.

Cyclize defossilizes the chemical industry by recycling mixed plastic waste and CO2. We replace fossil feedstocks such as natural gas to produce synthesis gas (a gas mixture of carbon monoxide and hydrogen) based on non-fossil feedstocks by using mixed waste and CO2 as feedstock. This synthesis gas serves as a basic building block for higher-value chemicals and is used to produce plastics, methanol, hydrogen and e-fuels. In this way, we enable a circular carbon economy. We offer the chemical industry a solution to become resource-independent and secure European production sites.

„We are no longer letting carbon out of the system. The future belongs to the circular economy for waste and CO2, so Cyclize enables independence from fossil resources and thus also Net-Zero.“
