PropTech1 Ventures

PT1 – PropTech1 Ventures is an independent early-stage venture capital platform, investing in transformative technologies within the built world and supports #Futurebuilders: innovative entrepreneurs from across Europe who are tackling the major challenges of our time caused by the increasing scarcity of natural resources, affordable housing and skilled labour, generating a double return for both their investors and society.

As the demands between the real estate, infrastructure and energy asset classes increasingly converge, technologies at their intersections are imperative: scalable net-zero modernisation of existing properties at risk of becoming stranded assets, next-generation risk assessment platforms in response to the exploding damage from climate change or carbon capture technologies that intelligently use existing infrastructure for increased efficiency are just a few examples where the real estate world can have a significant impact on solving the most pressing challenges.

To find, fund and nurture these innovations, PT1 has brought together an agile, inquisitive, international and entrepreneurial team based in Berlin and London with outposts across Europe. PT1’s venture capital platform is based on a deep understanding of the PropTech, ConstructionTech and UrbanTech sectors thanks to a great network of industry veterans, international fund investors ranging from real estate companies, banks, institutional investors and of course, a growing community of #Futurebuilders.

“The fight against climate change is a challenge for our whole society that cannot be mastered by individual companies. It is therefore important that innovative start-ups, investors as well as NGOs and political representatives join forces.”
