Scale Energy

Scale Energy is developing Europe’s largest decentralized battery storage network by using existing industrial grid connections, onsite solar and other existing infrastructure for flexible storage solutions.

Industrial companies often have unused grid capacities that can be efficiently utilized by battery storage systems without the need for expensive grid expansions. Our solutions enable companies to reduce energy costs, optimize their own consumption and contribute to grid stability. At the same time, we enable institutional investors to invest in scalable, CO₂-reducing infrastructure projects.

Our approach is based on fast, cost-efficient implementation that allows industrial customers to benefit from the energy transition without having to invest themselves. With a strong network of partners and financiers, we are driving the expansion of battery storage in Germany, Austria and beyond.

“Decentralized energy storage is the key to a stable and sustainable energy future and a strong European industry. Together with Tech for Net Zero, we want to play an active role in shaping this change.”
