Voltfang

Voltfang enables sustainable energy storage by developing high-performance battery storage systems using repurposed electric vehicle batteries. Instead of leaving valuable resources unused, Voltfang gives these batteries a second life, creating an efficient and environmentally friendly storage solution for businesses.

The storage systems allow small and medium-sized enterprises as well as industrial companies to store excess energy efficiently. This leads to increased self-sufficiency, significant cost savings, and a reduction in the ecological footprint.

Voltfang’s customers range from supermarkets that want to store their self-generated electricity to industrial companies that use Voltfang’s solutions to smooth out peak loads, and large-scale battery storage operators who feed electricity back into the grid for profit. Through these sustainable storage solutions, the Aachen-based team makes a crucial contribution to the energy transition and promotes a functioning circular economy.

„The climate catastrophe is imminent. If we fail to attract even climate skeptics as customers, our chances are slim. This means making sustainable technologies as affordable as possible and rolling them out as quickly as possible.“

David Oudsandji, CEO and Co-Founder of Voltfang
